ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF COUNTRY
Let's Talk About X acknowledges that we work on stolen lands of the Boon Wurrung and Woi Wurrung peoples.
We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners and ongoing custodians of the lands and waterways, and their histories of continuing connection dating back more than 60,000 years. We are grateful for their enduring cultural practices of caring for Country.
We acknowledge that sexuality and gender diversity existed within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures long before European invasion, and that research on LGBTIQA+ issues is under-representative of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future, and recognise First Nations peoples’ rights to self-determination. Sovereignty was never ceded. That's why we donate a percentage of our profits to Pay The Rent.
We are always on the lookout to collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. If you’re Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and would like to connect, we’d love you to get in touch, particularly if you’re working in similar spaces (sexual harm prevention, LGBTIQA+ inclusion, activism/advocacy etc).

This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
