WHAT's PAY THE RENT?

The Pay The Rent Grassroots Collective is a not for profit based on the lands of the Kulin Nation in Victoria.

A Sovereign Body of First Nations People make decisions about how their money is allocated.

The Collective enables funds to be contributed by individuals directly to grassroots causes and campaigns with a focus on protecting First Nations rights.

HOW WE PAY

At the end of each financial year we give 2% of any profits from our training programs to Pay The Rent. We figure it's the least we can do given we live and work on stolen land.

Let's Talk About X acknowledges we work on stolen lands of the Boon Wurrung and Woi Wurrung peoples. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and their continuing connection to the land, sea and community. We also acknowledge that sexuality and gender diversity existed within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures long before European invasion.

Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be. That's why we donate a percentage of our profits to Pay The Rent.
